How do I enquire about foreign rights?
If you are an overseas publisher and are interested in buying translation rights for any of our titles, please contact us via rights@awardpublications.co.uk
You may like to make an appointment to meet with us at one of the forthcoming book fairs. See the list under Event’s to find out which shows we attend.
How do I apply for permission to use your work?
If you wish to use any of the work contained within our books, for any purpose, or if you want to feature Award books in television or other broadcast media, you must first obtain written permission from us. Contact us via rights@awardpublications.co.uk
Do you have guidelines for authors and illustrators?
We create, design and illustrate the vast majority of our books in the UK, working closely with a talented team of authors, illustrators and designers.
Currently, we are not accepting manuscripts and do not work with freelance proofreaders. However, we are always on the look out for new illustrators and designers, so if you would like to work with us, please send samples to info@awardpublications.co.uk
If posting your material, send it to the address on the Contact Us page. Please include a stamped self-addressed envelope and make a copy of your work before sending. We will always aim to reply to or return all submissions, but we regret we are unable to provide reviews or general advice on getting your work published.
You may like to refer to the Society of Children's Book Writers & Illustrators www.britishscbwi.org or The Publishers Association’s www.publishers.org.uk ‘Getting Published’ section for this.
Where can I buy Award books?
For more information about purchasing our books, click here to go to the How to Buy section of our website
What is the number shown underneath each book cover?
The 13 digit number below each book image is the ISBN or International Standard Book Number. This uniquely identifies the book and can be used by bookstores and libraries to trace the title, regardless of whether you have any author, title or publisher details.
